How to use Sea Salt Spray
Containing natural sea salt, when blow-drying into the hair, our lightweight sea salt spray magically volumises and thickens even the finest of hair textures. The secret blend of salts binds, absorbs and adds texture while still allowing you to run your hands through your hair without residue.
Simply add a few spritzes to damp towel-dried hair and style into place.
Texturising with Sea Salt Spray
This method is perfect for when you have just got out of the shower; you've just shampooed your hair and rid yourself of all your natural oils. As we discussed earlier, make sure your hair is damp; a good towel dry is perfect.
Next, apply your Sea Salt Spray generously all over your hair, making sure that everywhere is covered. You can use a brush here, or work it through with your fingers, depending on the style you're trying to achieve.
Now, you decide whether you want to let it dry naturally, or by using a hairdryer. There is no right or wrong way of doing it: allowing it to dry itself will result in a wavier style while using a hairdryer will give more of a lift. The choice is yours!
Pre-styling with Sea Salt Spray
If you're looking for a sharper, neater quiff, here's where you need to be. Much the same as before, apply your spray into damp hair. Once again, you can use a brush or your fingers, but this just depends on how sharp you want your look to be.
Begin to move your hair into your desired position, then fire up the hairdryer, making sure that you are consistently directing your hair with your chosen instrument whilst following that direction with the hairdryer.
Once dry, grab your favourite Clay/Cream/Paste, and finish off by structuring your hair and fixing up those few strays. You will instantly notice the difference pre-styling makes!
Reviving with Sea Salt Spray
Here we will forget what I said earlier about never using Sea Salt Spray in dry hair. However, in my defence, this is only for a quick fix when you haven't washed in a while. If your hair is looking a bit greasy, but you haven't got the time to give it a proper wash, grab your spray and slightly dampen your hair with it; don't coat it, just a little squirt here and there to add some moisture.
Style your hair as best you can (you know, despite the grease) and let it dry naturally. Now you've given your hair the power to go on for another day, although you really should have a shower at some point soon. What's your excuse?
