Music is an integral part of the Gents of London culture. Not only does it inspire us, but it motivates us to achieve our goals and push through the tough days.
Understanding the significance of National Album Day, we thought we’d share some of the albums that have had a defining impact on our lives.
National Album day will be celebrated on the 16th November 2021 this year - so get ready.
There’s been a lot in the media about how albums are dying, with streaming sites and YouTube making it easier than ever to listen to music at the click of a button. However, there are still those who hold firmly on to their record collection and CD rack, occasionally sitting down and listening in full to an album that they might like to listen to in parts.
We asked the Gents of London team to reveal the first album they ever owned was and here are the answers…
Pete: The Cream of Eric Clapton - Eric Clapton
Bradley: Dangerous – Micheal Jackson
Sammy: All Rise – Blue
Greg: Only By the Night – Kings of Leon
Adam: History – Micheal Jackson
James: Wouldn’t own up ..my guess is the Venga Boys
